Budget
What surprised me the most about my budget was how much debt I would be in if my job was only paying ten dollars an hour, and if I did not acquire any financial support from my family. I was expecting the things that were required to spend money on, such as housing and food, but I was not expecting that I would be In that much debt. I do not think that I am fully prepared for all of this responsibility, and I am glad that I have at least one more year to become prepared. I realized that I am going to need a lot of help, and it is going to take a lot of hard work in order to get through college. To prepare for those challenges in the future, I can work hard to get scholarships to cut off on some of the college debt.

Career Choice
My top career choice would be speech therapy, or speech/language pathology. I would choose this career because I am prepared for the classes that I would have to take in order to receive and obtain a master's degree. Also, I love working with children and it would be a very rewarding and fantastic opportunity to be able to aid them in their speaking abilities. Also, there are several more jobs opening up for speech therapists in the future, so it would be fairly easy to find a job in this profession. The pay is also very rewarding as well.

Stress Test
My test score was an eight, which means that my life is "in fairly good control". I suppose that I would agree with this conclusion. I don't feel like I get stressed out very easily, but other's around me tell me that I am stressed out all the time. I guess that being around people stresses me out more than anything else. I solve this problem by avoiding people. When people are bad at communicating and I have to work harder to understand them, which occasionally inconveniences me in the long run, I get stressed out. Whenever I get stressed out my shoulders hurt really badly, and they have been hurting ever since school started so I can assume that school also stresses me out. The reason why school stresses me out is probably because I am around more people at school. Also, I kind of freak out about assignments like projects or papers and I spend several hours trying to perfect my work which often leads me to stay up really late at night and then I fail to get enough sleep. I try to solve this problem by being on top of my work so that I have time to perfect my work and therefore I don't stay up so late. Those are the things that stress me out the most, and that is how I solve them.

Organizational Method
My current organizational method is a written planner and it works out well for me because it is easy to access and easy to write in. Procrastination is not productive, and often times results in producing low-grade work based on the amount of time spent on said assignment. I can fight procrastination by placing the more important things, like school work in front of the things that I want to do, like watch T.V..

College Transition
I am looking forward to this college transition class because I am excited to begin my college experience. My older sister took the college transition class while she was in high school and she was relieved that she decided to take that class. She expressed to me that this class really helped her in applying for colleges and acquiring scholarships. I hope to gain this knowledge while in this class this year to better my chances of gaining scholarships and knowledge about applications.
